The purpose of this blog post is to announce the launch of the end user connection. What is it you ask? Or at least I hope you are curious enough to ask…basically, with all of the resources for organizations looking to learn more about BI, it may seem that everything has been covered. But when it comes to the mid-market, there are still gaps due to the lack of focus on specific mid-market needs. What are people doing? What is working? What are the unique mid-market challenges? What do mid-market companies and the people within those companies want to know about BI to make their jobs easier? What is missing? What isn't being said that needs to be? And are vendors missing their mark?
Who better to answer these questions than you - people going through the motions of evaluating, implementing, and using these solutions within mid-market organizations?
The end user connection, therefore, is a facebook of sorts for the mid-market community. It is the place to go to interact with your peers, learn from experts, solve problems, and find out about mid-market BI and what others are doing. Not only that, the end user connection also changes the way content and interactions are developed and maintained. Up until this point, communities have been vendor specific and overall online BI content has been driven by experts, analysts, and vendors. Well, it's time this changes! End users themselves should really be driving what content, research and educational programming is developed and delivered.
Come be a part of this community and help drive what happens within BI for mid-market - share your thoughts, frustrations, success, challenges, questions, and more.
